Holden Open Bracket, Dial-In Class E
All Holden’s 11.5 and slower not in one of the other 4 classes
A qualifying pass to be made at noon, No Qual pass = No Race in Eliminations
Dial in based off Qual Pass, only one, make it a good one!
You leave when your light is Green, you leave too soon and RED Light, you lose!
First to the line wins! The Starter Computer will stagger the start to even out the 2 cars dial in times
so that you both should cross the line at the same time off your dial in.
Example, you have a 12.0 dial in, and the car your racing has a 13.0 dial in based off qualifying, the
slower car leaves 1 sec ahead of the faster car.
If you Dial in a 12.0 and run a 11.99999999999 that is considered “Breaking out” and you lose. You
want to run your most constant pass in Qualifying, be careful of making changes between passes that
could make you run faster and break out.
This format is used at almost every Drag Strip across the USA every weekend, you might have heard
it called an 8.50 index, or a 10.0 index.
Hot Lapping maybe required but based off the number of cars in class.
